XBox update... The joy continues...

I wish the XBox was going well...
I got it, then it kept freezing after 30 minutes of an XBox 360 game or 5 minutes of an old XBox game.
It could do a whole movie or as much music as I wanted (well, until the last time). Suzy and I were listening to some music on it, then it froze. I went to restart it and it wouldn't turn on anymore.
I had already called Microsoft to repair it because the freezing during games, so the box to send it back was there the next day anyway.
So, overall that wasn't so bad. It froze up when it needed to be put away and it died when I wasn't going to be able to play with it for the next couple days anyway.
Then, the story gets bad...
UPS had left the box to the side of my house in a snow/rain storm. So, the box to send the XBox back in was destroyed. They couldn't leave it on the porch where it would have been safe (not to mention noticed that morning so it could have been brought in before the storm).
Luckily, I had kept the box for my Central Vacuum parts and it was almost the same size, so the XBox fit in it great.
UPS offered to pick it up for $10 (no one else has tried to charge me for a pick up for anything else), so I told them no and had Suzy drop it off at the UPS store down the street.
It has now been over two weeks and I still don't have it back. Microsoft claims they shipped it on the 7th and UPS claims they never got it.
One company tells me I need to call the other to fix the problem...
Last time I talked to Microsoft they finally claimed it may or may not be missing and that they can't start an investigation untill it had been missing for 3 days which would be Monday(Today).
Fun, fun, fun...
