The reciever dies
The reciever for our home theater died.
Well, not quite, but enough it is hard to use.
The screen died.
The big problem with that is everytime you turn it off, it loses the settings and now I can't set it back since I can't see anything.
It was one I bought a few years ago just to have until I got my house built and finished the theater and bought a nice sound system.
After some researching and back and forth on whether I should even replace it right now, we ended up ordering a Yamaha HTR-5960.
For now, we will use the 5.1 speakers we have right now and replace them out later with good 7.1 speakers.
The reciever is a big improvement over the one we have now. It comes with a microphone and will automatically set itself up to sound the best it can wherever we put it.
